BELAX Alumni capture MVP honors in the Japanese Friendship games.

The UMBC Retrievers traveled to Japan on June 11th to play in the Japanese Friendship games. They stayed in Japan for 11 days and on the opening day and closing day BELAX players shined. BELAX is well represented on the UMBC team and two Alumns came home with honors. |

Max Davis received MVP honors in UMBC's first game in Japan. Max continues to add to his list of outstanding accomplishments with the Retrievers. Max is majoring in Media Communications and will be a returning Senior next year. Max graduated from Friends School and played for BELAX during his recruiting process. |

Eric Gurnsey received MVP honors in their final game in Japan against Nagoya. The Senior graduated with a degree in Media Communications and has one year of eligibility remaining after red-shirting his freshman year due to ACL surgeries. Eric graduated from Catonsville High School and was one of BELAX's first college recruits.
Eric is also an assistant coach for the BELAX Elite Select team and will be on the sideline with Ross Albers the rest of the summer. |
